Contest Information

Laünch Crüe hosts four NAR sanctioned Regional Meets every year. All competition points earned go towards national standings. These events are open to all to attend and sport fly, but you must be a NAR member to enter the competition itself. Awards are given to the top flyers. These two day events generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. All contests include a 10,000’ MSL FAA waiver for high power sport flying. In addition to the flying, we usually have pizza on site on Saturday night after the range has closed, followed by craftsmanship judging, if required.
